What’s the difference between a consultation call and a therapy session?

A consultation call is the 15-minute introduction stage where we briefly discuss issues you are experiencing and how I may be able to support you. A therapy session is a 50-minute appointment that focuses on building a deeper understanding about yourself, the struggles you face, and ways to address them.

How much are your fees?

Sessions are $150 per session for out-of-pocket payment.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, I accept the following insurances:

  • Aetna

  • Cigna

Can I use my EAP for therapy services?

Yes, I accept Lyra. To use your Lyra EAP, please contact me below to get started.

Do you offer a sliding scale or superbill?

Sliding scales are offered based on availability and need. I also provide superbills on a monthly basis upon request.

What can I expect in my first appointment?

Before your first appointment, you will be requested to complete intake documents which include your consent for services. During the first session, we will spend time exploring your history, strengths, struggles, and what you hope to gain from therapy. There are no right or wrong answers, just curiosity and compassion.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

If you need to cancel for any reason, please contact me at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment to avoid a late cancellation fee.
